VIP Program

We're so grateful for our VIPs. They go above and beyond in fundraising and make a huge difference in the lives of Canadians! And they're rewarded for being so great. Is the VIP program for you? Find out here.

What’s a VIP?

It’s a Very Important Philanthropist! They ride, run or walk and raise $1,000 or more. They’re stellar fundraisers, but more importantly, they go the extra mile to help Canadians live healthy lives free of heart disease and stroke. Amazing!

What’s it like to be a VIP?

It’s glorious! As our VIPs work towards their $1,000+ goal, we’re here offering them special support and encouragement along the way. VIPs’ registration fees are waived until April 30, 2017.

How do I become a VIP?

There are two ways you can do it:

  • 1. Register as a VIP. This is your pledge to raise $1,000 or more.
  • 2. Raise $1,000 at any point before the Ride, Run or Walk and you automatically become a VIP.

Raising $1,000 is easier than you think. It could be as easy as collecting $100 each from 10 family members, friends, colleagues, or neighbours. Or why not host a fundraising BBQ in your backyard?

Register as a VIP now, log in to fundraise, or check out our fundraising support page for great fundraising tips!

Who Else Is A VIP?

Mike Howlett is!! And so are close to 25 other people just like you.

Mike Howlette
"I participated in the 2016 Ride for Heart NL because my family was affected by heart disease. On Feb 2, 2007, my father passed away from a sudden heart attack and our lives have never been the same. That’s why I’m so thankful for support from my peers when I decided to participate in the Ride for Heart, NL. Their donations kept me riding and brought special meaning to the day. It was a great experience and I felt rewarded after completing the course. If my participation can prevent other families from suffering such painful losses, that would be a great thing"
