How will my donation be used?
In short, it will help make health last. Your generous gift will help ensure that we can continue to provide Canadians with the tools, resources and initiatives to help reduce the controllable risk factors of heart disease and stroke.See what your gift can do.
Do I get a tax receipt for my donation?
Yes! When you make a donation online, you’ll receive a tax receipt immediately by email. If you make a donation offline of $20 or more, we’ll automatically mail you your tax receipt by September 30th, 2014. If you donate less than $20, you can request a tax receipt by checking off the box that says "Tax Receipt" on the Rider’s fundraising form.
When I try to make a donation online, I receive error messages and my screen is freezing - what is wrong?
Sorry about that! From time to time, there are so many people accessing the online registration system at the same time that this happens. You didn’t do anything wrong. We appreciate your patience and suggest that you try again later.

If you don’t want to wait, we completely understand. Please call (416) 486-RIDE for assistance. Alternatively, you can take note of the exact error message and send it to Becel Heart&Stroke Ride for Heart customer service at ride@hsf.on.ca for further investigation along with your email address and phone number.
I want to make a donation, but not online. Is there another way?
That’s okay we know that not everyone likes to donate online. We’re so grateful for your gift however you give. There are a couple of ways you can give offline.

Give it directly to the Rider you’re sponsoring

Your Rider can complete an offline fundraising form and submit the funds to us at the Check-in Centre or on Ride day.

Give by Phone

Call the Ride line at (416) 486-RIDE. Please ensure you know the name of the Rider, Group or Team that you would like to donate to.
