Your job is to save lives. That’s brilliant! So if you want to join the Becel Heart&Stroke Ride for Heart and are working in an Emergency Medical Services (EMS) department or on a Public Access Defibrillation (PAD) program, this challenge is for you!
What’s Special About the EMS/PAD Challenge?
You! EMS/PAD workers are a dedicated bunch. You’ll have no trouble raising the $1,000 you need to for this Challenge. (You’ll receive personal support and coaching to help you every step of the way.) And you help save lives every day.

- Your choice of route and start time and access to the express lane
- Catered breakfast and lunch on Ride day

When each Rider on your team reaches their $1,000 minimum, ZOLL, presenting sponsor of the EMS/PAD Challenge, will make a $1,000 donation to your team!

To start a new Team:
Step 1: Contact Victoria Racanelli @ vracanelli@hsf.on.ca or (647) 943-3212 to get your promo code for free registrationStep 2: Select ‘Register Now’, and then ‘Start a Group‘
Step 3: Enter your desired team name and fundraising goal (ignore Corporate Challenge Company and Industry fields)
Step 4: Select ‘VIP Individual starting a group’
Step 5: Enter promo code and set your goal to $1,000+
Step 6: Click ‘Next Step’ and then ‘Join as a new Rider’, and then continue through registration
If there’s a Team you want to join:
Step 1: Contact your team captain, or Victoria Racanelli to get your promo code for free registrationStep 2: Select ‘Register Now’, Go to Join a Group
Step 3: Search for your team name (ignore Corporate Challenge Company and Industry fields)
Step 4: Find your team name and click on ‘Join’ to the right
Step 5: Select ‘VIP Individual joining a group’
