Why walk?

Walking is a great way to inject heart-healthy activity into your day — even with your kids in tow. By taking part and fundraising you are supporting critical research That’s a powerful combination: walking for your own health and the health of all Canadians.

Why fundraise?

The reason is simple yet alarming: Every 7 minutes, heart disease or stroke take a Canadian life. And another family is devastated. We need your help to change that. Your fundraising helps ensure critical research can continue. It’s that research that will help save lives and support survivors and their families. That’s why we ask participants (aged 18+) to raise at least $100, in addition to their registration fee.
