Like many of you, our family has once again been hit by cardiovascular disease. Recently, my father had a small stroke. Fortunately for us- the story has a happy ending due to advances in research and surgical techniques.
Cardiovascular disease is a leading cause of death for Canadian men and women. Much has been done over the past decade to ensure we have more survivors. I want to help change this. That’s why I’m fundraising through Hamilton Row4Heart again this year.
All of the money raised by my crew will go to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, where they’ll use it to develop life-saving treatments that bring hope to heart disease and stroke patients. In the last year alone, the Heart and Stroke Foundation has helped created 165,000 survivors of heart disease and stroke.
Please help me reach my fundraising goal by making a donation today. On July 16, my crew (Brew Crew) and I are going to row our hearts out at a regatta at the Hamilton waterfront to contribute to this worthy cause.
It's only with your help that we can continue to fund this vital research, and return more survivors home to their loved ones.
Thank you so much for your support
