Thanks for taking a look at my page. I'd like to tell you why I have decided to canvass and what your donation does.
Most of you probably already know my story by now, but some of you may not. March will mark 12 years ago my son Quinn lost his mother to a stroke at the young age of 32 when he was just 9 months old. In honour of Kam's memory I decided to canvass as a volunteer 4 years ago to bring awareness to those I know about cardiovascular disease (especially for the younger demographic as the disease can strike you at any age and anytime). In doing so I hope that Quinn will also take part as he gets older moving forward as a way to stay connected to the mother he never truly had a chance to know. Anyone who knew Kam can see that Quinn is her little mini me twin that's for sure.
With the world of social media we now live in, I have been blessed the past 4 years in surpassing my fundraising goals in large part to the overwhelming support I get from people on social media. So thank you so much and I hope we can make it another successful fundraising year and become a gold heart canvasser for 5 years straight! For anyone who would like to contribute to my fundraising efforts the link to my page is below (a tax receipt is provided). I believe US residents are also able to take part. Feel free to share the link to anyone you know who knew Kam and that may be interested in contributing. Thank you in advance from Quinn & I xoxo.
Cardiovascular disease is a leading cause of death for Canadian men and women. I want to help change this. That’s why I’m canvassing to create more survivors.
All of the money I raise will go to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, where they’ll use it to develop life-saving treatments that bring hope to heart disease and stroke patients. In the last year alone, the Heart and Stroke Foundation has helped create 165,000 survivors of heart disease and stroke.
Please help me reach my fundraising goal by making a donation today.
It's only with your help that we can continue to fund this vital research, and return more survivors home to their loved ones.
Thank you so much for your support. Coy & Quinn xoxo
