On Sunday, June 7th for the third consecutive year, I will be participating in the 75 km ride for the 2020 Manulife Heart & Stroke (Ride for Heart) to honour my grandfather Thomas who passed away 52 years ago at a very young age of 39. In addition to support and raise funds for life-saving research, to spread awareness on the risk factors and first signs of heart attack and stroke, as well as to help empower individuals to make healthy choices in their lives.
The threat is urgent - every 7 minutes someone dies in Canada and worldwide by representing 31% of global deaths each year relating to heart diseases or stroke.
I don’t believe our genes should be our destiny, and that’s why I am fundraising for the 2020 Manulife Heart & Stroke Ride for Heart. Your donation will push forward life-saving research like this and more and fund incredible breakthroughs to create more survivors of heart disease and stroke!
Your support will also help the Heart and Stroke Foundation to achieve its 2021 goal of reducing Canadians’ rate of death from heart disease and stroke by 25% and directly improve the lives of Canadians through preventing disease, saving lives and promoting recovery.
Please help me with my fundraising goal and donate today.
Thank you - your support means a lot to me and so many others!
