My Own Fundraiser 2019 - Coastal Vancouver Region

AEPi UBC Presents: Hoops 4 Health

The UBC Chapter of Alpha Epsilon Pi is proud to present our fourth annual 3-on-3 basketball tournament, with proceeds going towards the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Join us on Sunday, March 31st at the War Memorial Gym for a day of fun and philanthropy.

In 2016, one of our very own brothers, Nitai Weinberg, suffered a stroke while at UBC. He was 18. Now, he is on the road to recovery. Fortunately, he has made a near full recovery. Throughout his recovery and going forward, he has made it his mission to raise money and awareness of Stroke and the organization itself.

Last year, we raised around $8,000 for the Heart and Stroke Foundation. We understand that this is a respectable amount of money raised but we know we can do better. We have set our goal to raise an ambitious $15,000 but we need your help.

The Heart and Stroke Foundation is dedicated to advocacy, education, and funding research in heart diseases and strokes. With your help, we can support the Heart and Stroke Foundation in order to raise awareness of strokes and to improve the health and recovery for Nitai and other victims of strokes.

Thanks in advance for your support.
