Getting your credentials

Pick Up @ Exhibition Place

If you don’t qualify for Premium Delivery Service, you can visit us at the Enercare Centre’s West Entrance at Exhibition Place to pick up your event day credentials or drop off your pledges. While here, you’ll get everything you need to have a great time on event day!

Before event day:

  • Thursday, May 31, 4 p.m. - 7 p.m.
  • Friday, June 1, 12 noon - 7 p.m.
  • Saturday, June 2, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
  • Complimentary parking at designated lot at Exhibition place while picking up your bib

On event day:

  • For General Participants
    • Pick up your bib
    • Submit your pledges
    • Check your bag
    • Park your bike in the bike corral, just west of the Enercare Centre.

  • For VIP and Corporate Participants
    • Pick up your bib
    • Submit your pledges
    • Check your bag
    • Park your bike in the Enercare Centre. Enter through the north side of the building.

Getting to Ride for Heart

Take it easy with transit

To get to Ride for Heart by TTC, plan your route with the TTC Trip Planner. Or call (416) 393-INFO(4636).

To get to Ride for Heart via GO Transit, plan your route with the GO Triplinx. Or call (416) 869-3200 or 1-888-GET-ON-GO (438-6646).

Drive downtown

If you’re driving on the event day, please consider carpooling. And remember that the traffic-free experience means that highways and ramps will be closed from 2 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Gardiner Expressway: all ramps closed from the Humber River east to the Don Valley Parkway.

Don Valley Parkway: all ramps closed from Lake Shore Blvd north to Highway 401.

Parking on Event Day

To park at designated lots at Exhibition Place and Ontario Place on event day, you must have a parking pass.

Enter through the entrances off of Fleet St. or Lake Shore Blvd. Entrance through the Princes’ Gates is not permitted.

Event Day Parking at Exhibition Place and Ontario Place is now sold out.

If you do not already have a parking pass you cannot park at these lots on event day and should make alternate arrangements to ensure a pleasant event experience. Please note that the suggested alternative options are not official Ride for Heart parking, we recommend double-checking to ensure they will meet your specific needs.

Bike Parking

Bikes must be parked in designated bike parking areas or returned to your vehicle before accessing event spaces.

  • VIP & Corporate Participants Park your bike inside the Enercare Centre. Enter through the north side of the Enercare Centre, and park your bike inside using our secure valet bike parking service. Continue on inside Enercare to enjoy all of your VIP & Corporate Challenge amenities.
  • General Participants Park your bike in our secure bike corral, just west of the Enercare Centre. Once parked you can continue on to enjoy the outdoor food market and indoor Heart Park.

Ride safely: Please follow these rules on event day

To ensure a safe and successful Ride for Heart, please follow these rules:

  • Be at your chute at your start time. Start times will be strictly enforced to ensure the highways are cleared of riders, runners and walkers by 12:30 p.m.
  • Riders must wear a helmet and ensure their bike is in good working condition: tire pressure, cable tension, brake pads, shifters and chain.
  • Follow the rules of the road: Pass on the left, coast on the right.
  • Helmets are mandatory.
  • Please be courteous to fellow participants.
  • Participants who weave, pass at high speeds or cycle at high speeds in a group/peloton are considered unsafe and will be removed from the event by Toronto Police Services.
  • Pass on the left. Slower cyclists and children must stay to the right of the road.
  • Do not attempt to pass the pace vehicles.
  • Obey the route marshals and ambassadors of the road.
  • Use extreme caution on the downhill portions of the DVP & Gardiner Expressway.
  • Stopping anywhere other than a rest station is for emergency situations only.
  • In the event you must stop, let the people around you know and go to the far right of the road.
