Event Overview
Together We Ride to Create More Survivors
Join us on Sunday, May 31, 2015 for The Becel Heart&Stroke Ride for Heart. It’s an experience of a lifetime. And your chance to help create more survivors.
Imagine you’re riding down the Gardiner Expressway and Don Valley Parkway in Toronto. There’s not a vehicle in sight and all you can see are 14,000 other Riders around you. You’re pedaling away, faster and faster as you think about how great it felt to beat your fundraising goal and how great it is to help us continue the life-saving work that creates more survivors. As you finish your epic route, you feel completely alive!
Last year’s Ride sold out. Register now! You can fundraise and ride on your own or as a team.
Why You Should Ride
More than 66,000 Canadians die each year from heart disease and stroke—one every seven minutes. With your help, we can raise funds to support researchers across Canada who are working on breakthrough treatments that save lives and improve survivor recovery.
Why You Have to Fundraise to Ride
Riders (aged 18+) need to raise at least $100 in addition to their registration fee. And here’s why.
Cycling is a great heart-healthy activity for everyone who participates. But we want this event to benefit all Canadians! Taking part in the Ride for Heart is the perfect opportunity to raise funds that go towards preventing heart disease and stroke, saving lives and promoting recovery for survivors, families and caregivers.
Your Fundraising Will be Rewarded
The more you raise, the greater the rewards! See them here.
Will You be a VIP?
You can become a VIP—a Very Important Philanthropist—in one of two ways. Either way, you’ll do more to help Canadians live longer, fuller lives and be rewarded handsomely. Find out more.
